Just because you’re vegan, doesn’t mean you have time to create a Yotam Ottolenghi-worthy plant-based dinner every night.

Non meat-eaters need an emergency stock of goodies in the freezer too.

Now Iceland has launched a new range of 13 products to make planning your meals a little easier, whether you’re a new vegan looking for tasty substitutes or a curious carnivore scheduling a few meat-free Mondays.

There’s No Bull Jalapeño Burgers (€2.50 for a two-pack), No Chick Crispy Fillets, No Bull Sausages and No Porkies Chorizo Slices, which have all the smoky and spicy characteristics of your typical chorizo, without the meat.

The No Bull Vegetaballs, a blend of red quinoa and green vegetables, are super handy for adding to your spaghetti too.

Iceland has also pledged to be the first supermarket retailer to remove palm oil from all own label food by the end of 2018 and eliminate plastic packaging from all own brands products by the end of 2023 – pretty good going.

Check out the new range at Iceland in Ballincollig, Douglas, Fermoy and Midleton.
