It’s shaping up to be a helluva weekend.

The Ballymaloe Craft Fair takes place next weekend, November 16th-18th, with a truck-ton of cool, clever and crafty workshops to inspire visitors to try more DIY.

You can start your day with yoga in the small shed before making your own body scrub and potting your own take-home plant.

It’s basically all of our dream day-off activities, conveniently located in one spot.

Artist Annie Holland will be bringing her amazing headdresses made of single-use plastic to the Sustainable Living Fringe.

The creative will be hosting a photobooth where you can try them on, as well as activities designed to fuels ideas and inspiration on all things sustainable.

1. Succulent Terrarium Workshop

Learn to design your very own terrarium from everyday items such as jars and tea cups- decorated by you. These little beauties will make great gifts heading into the festive season. BYO jars and/or tea cup, they’ll supply the rest.

2. DIY Origami Festive Season Workshop

Learn how to create beautiful tags, cards and decorations, all from origami paper with a short 60 minute workshop with local extraordinaire Sachicko. All materials supplied.

3. Blissful Body Butter Workshop

Imagine if you could make luscious body butters and invigorating scrubs from herbs and flowers. This workshop will show exactly how to do it. Just BYO jars and they’ll supply the rest.
