Good news, travel fans; we’re about to have a brand new route to explore.
Ryanair has announced it will launch a Cork to Poznań flight in April, 2019.
Set on the Warta River in western Poland, Poznań is known for its Renaissance-style buildings in Old Market Square.
There’s plenty for history buffs to explore (not least the Gothic and baroque Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral, built on an island called Ostrów Tumski) and there’s plenty of quirky sights to check out too – like the town hall’s clock, which features mechanical goats that butt heads at noon.
The twice-weekly service, commencing in April 2019, will be a part of Ryanir’s Summer 2019 schedule.
“To celebrate we are releasing seats for sale from €14.99 for travel from September to October, which are available for booking until Friday midnight (7 Sep).” says Ryanair’s Robin Kiely.
