A lick of fresh paint can transform a room in record time.

And with mere weeks to go until Santa arrives, we need all the help we can get to make sure the halls are decked in time.

What’s why word of an upcoming evening workshop was music to our ears; Design Your Interior with Art & Colour takes place on Monday, November 12th (7pm to 9pm) and it sounds like the ideal learning experience (ie. there’s bubbles involved).

Led by 2020 curator and art advisor Sheelah Moloney and interior architect Ger Cooney, the event will show you new ways to use colour to transform your favourite room.

The workshop, a collaboration with Pat McDonnell paints, will provide attendees with practical advice and insider tips on choosing a colour scheme for their next interior décor project.

“Having undertaken house renovations myself I know how daunting the never ending options can seem,” says Sheelah.

“I wanted to offer people the chance to come to the event with the idea of redecorating a room and leave with a plan that is unique to them.”

Basically, it’s like getting all the expertise of a top interior designer for the price of a ticket so don’t be afraid to arrive loaded with ideas and questions for the experts.

The evening will include a glass of festive bubbles and everyone leaves with a goodie bag so book your tickets early.
