We can barely contain our excitement.

The Spirit of The City is taking over Cork Cricket Club this weekend, with a travelling big top playing host to Cork gin and beer lovers alike in the official first outdoor bash of spring.

Obviously soakage is going to be key for anyone planning making the most of the truly mouthwatering selection of local and international craft gins.

The answer? Kick off your day at the Gin & Cricket Brunch.

Before the crowds arrive, award-winning Greenes Restaurant, Cask and Bao Boi chef Bryan McCarthy and Frank Schiltkamp will be serving up tasting platters of classic brunch dishes with a unique twist… all washed down by Whitley Neill Gin.

As if we needed another reason to attend, there will be prizes on offer each day – lucky brunchers will take home gin gift sets and restaurant vouchers.

To complete a spiffing afternoon, Cork Cricket Club members will be on hand in full match gear to talk you through the finer points of the game.
